Top Notch is a family owned and operated business. Hugh and Jeff McPherson began the business in the summer of 2006.

Christen McPherson Saraha joined them in the summer of 2007 as the gardening specialist. We have since discontinued our lawn care service, but are continuing to provide gardening and snow removal. We are capitalizing on our small company size to provide a reliable and conscientious service to our valued customers.

We presently have two trucks with front-mounted snow plows and three gas-powered snow blowers to take care of your residential or commercial snow removal needs. We offer "per plow" and seasonal pay plans.

Christen is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources with over 25 years of experience in landscape design and maintenance. "I specialize in ecologically beneficial landscape designs with a focus on native plants of Michigan. My goal is to create as many beautiful outdoor spaces as possible, that are easy to maintain and ecologically beneficial. I am available on a consultation basis to help you identify the plants in your existing landscape, how to care for them and ways you can incorporate native plants. I am also available to create new native plant beds or rain gardens. In addition to individual consultations, I have limited spots available for weekly landscape maintenance on an hourly basis."
